Kaylynne Leggett

Kaylynne started her professional dance career at the age of nine where she trained at the Raleigh School of Ballet in ballet, pointe, and modern. She trained as a pre-professional ballerina until the age of thirteen before deciding to pursue contemporary. She trained in contemporary at the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts where she received her high school diploma. While attending UNCSA, she was trained in techniques such as Graham, Cunningham and Limon while also being exposed to other techniques such as GAGA and improvisation. She had the opportunity to receive guest training from company members in LINES, Pilobolus, Hubbard Street, Limon Dance Company, and Cedar Lake. She is continuing her training at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she is pursuing a double major in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Medicine and a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Dance with a concentration in Choreography.
